The Craneway Pavilion at historic Ford Point on the waterfront in Richmond, announces the Second Annual Oktoberfest East Bay, Saturday, October 19th, 12pm-6pm. The Craneway Pavilion, at 1414 Harbour Way South, will be transformed into a festive Bavarian Biergarten and will feature specialty foods, beverages, and so much more!
This is Oompah at its best. The aroma of sizzling bratwurst and the cries of prosit once again herald this afternoon festival, featuring music and Bavarian Dancers, German costume contests and games, children’s events with a bounce-house, face painting, costume contest and more. Grab your lederhosen and bring the family, and be prepared to polka, sing along to your favorite German drinking songs, and toast with a host of Oktoberfest hand-crafted biers, German wines, and all your favorite, traditional German foods – brats, handmade sauerkraut, German potato salad, pretzels, and strudel.

Hi, What a great event! questions: on the bike parking, is it a guarded area? does this mean we don’t need to bring a lock? And the schedule? I’m asking because my friend plays in the band Der Stein and I wondered what the schedule is for them? Thanks so much! Aengus.
Hi there Aengus. The bike area will be guarded and inside of the building. No need to bring a lock. Philip Der Stein will be hitting the stage around 1pm. See you then!
